Description:
Publicis Media, part of Publicis Groupe, is seeking a Lead Engineer, Commerce Technology to design and implement AI/LLM-powered agentic workflow solutions that drive digital marketing and commerce innovations for global advertisers. This role involves leading a team of engineers to create scalable, modular, and efficient systems that empower performance marketing strategies across search, social, programmatic, and commerce channels.

Lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing AI/LLM-powered marketing applications.
Define and own the technical roadmap aligned with product strategy and business goals.
Design and implement robust, scalable, and modular distributed systems using cloud infrastructure.
Build AI-driven workflows for content generation, personalization, predictive analytics, and real-time insights.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high-quality code delivery.
Address technical debt, optimize performance, and ensure long-term maintainability.
Research and integrate emerging AI/LLM technologies to enhance product capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of full-stack application development with Agile methodologies.
5+ years of cloud-based application development (AWS or GCP).
5+ years designing modular, distributed, and asynchronous systems.
2+ years leading full-stack development teams.
1+ years hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, etc.).
Expert proficiency in Python; experience with asynchronous queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Knowledge of data lake architectures and large-scale data handling.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and clean code principles.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design.

Salary range: $110,580–$173,995 annually (approx. $9,215–$14,499 monthly).
