Lead Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer

DataBahn is building the AI-powered, high-speed data pipeline management technology. Our platform enables enterprises to ingest, transform, and move massive volumes of security and operational data with reliability, observability, and automation at its core.

We are looking for a Lead/Principal Software Engineer with deep Golang and distributed systems expertise to architect and build critical components of the DataBahn Data Highway platform.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Computer Science or equivalent
- 6+ years building SaaS or cloud-native backend products
- 4+ years of production Golang experience
- Expertise in:
Distributed systems & microservices
Concurrency, Goroutines, synchronization patterns
Event-driven architectures & streaming systems
REST/gRPC API development
- Hands-on experience with:
Docker, Kubernetes
AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo, etc.)
- Strong fundamentals in performance optimization, observability, and system reliability
- Ability to design scalable architectures for high-volume data systems
