Learning And Development Specialist

Description:

Bristol Myers Squibb, in partnership with ASK Consulting, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join its Seattle, WA office on a hybrid and contract basis. This position is integral to supporting global Patient Operations leadership by developing and delivering high-quality, engaging training programs and content that support operational excellence across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Patient Operations leadership to create and deliver meaningful, scalable learning programs for cross-functional global teams.

• Design, develop, and manage a broad range of learning resources, including eLearnings, training documentation, job aids, OJTs (On-the-Job Training), and curriculum materials.

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent learning projects with autonomy, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with learning objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Education, or related discipline preferred.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in corporate learning and development environments.

• Solid knowledge of adult learning theories and methodologies.

• Proven experience designing and delivering both in-person and virtual training.

• Strong proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, Visio, Outlook, and Teams.

• Skilled in instructional design software like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Camtasia, and preferably Adobe Photoshop.

• Experience working with Quality Document Management Systems and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

• Instructional design (3+ years)

• Role-based curriculum development

• ADDIE model and Kirkpatrick evaluation experience

• Learning Management System (LMS) expertise

• Proficiency in Articulate Rise
