Responsibilities
What we look for in our Leasing Agents:
- 1-3 years prior experience in Leasing/Property Management.
- Building a strong sense of community with the residents
- Managing day-to-day resident interactions, effectively being the "face" of the community.
- Coordinating with Maintenance and Leasing Teams to achieve cultural and fiduciary goals for the community.
- Addressing resident concerns, questions, lease violations as well as responding to resident communications promptly to resolve potential on-site issues. (i.e Maintenance requestions, residential disputes, parking or other on-site issues.)
- Communicating to residents any policy changes, resident events, or safety concerns within the community and responding to questions about such items.
- Reviewing and updating default leases, with approval of Manager, annually or as needed.
- Receiving rent, addressing delinquency and lease violations, issuing demands for cure, and assisting in administering evictions.
- Overseeing and coordinating the Move-In process and Move-Out process with residents.
- Overseeing and securing lease renewals.
- Entering and maintaining accurate resident data in Appfolio for all assigned communities.
- Communicating effectively with on-site team regarding issues that may arise and coordinating potential solutions on a timely basis.
- Scheduling, overseeing, and hosting resident events to build connections between residents.
- Supporting Leasing Specialist by scheduling and conducting property tours, processing applications and such.
- Maintaining and welcoming, clean & orderly office and answering phone calls.
- Providing livability and overall feedback to team members working on new development
