Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Description:

InStride Health, a mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming pediatric anxiety and OCD care, is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Child & Adolescent Therapist to deliver family-centered, evidence-based therapy in a fully virtual setting. The role involves working with children, teens, young adults, and their families, ensuring they receive timely, effective, and compassionate treatment without the usual delays or barriers in accessing mental health services.

As part of the InStride Health clinical team, the therapist will provide both individual and group therapy, incorporating CBT, ACT, and PMT approaches into treatment plans. Responsibilities include using measurement-based care to guide interventions, collaborating with other clinicians (psychiatrists, coaches), participating in group skills sessions for patients and caregivers, and integrating technology to enhance care delivery. Therapists are expected to maintain high clinical documentation standards, actively participate in professional development, and contribute feedback to improve programs and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and their families.

• Facilitate virtual individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care.

• Use outcome measures to guide treatment decisions and track progress.

• Support curriculum development and technological innovations in treatment delivery.

• Maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program.

• Active Massachusetts LMHC license.

• Proven expertise in anxiety, OCD, and related disorders in youth populations.

• Strong knowledge of CBT, ACT, DBT interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, cultural competency, and adaptability in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

• Proficiency with telehealth tools and willingness to adopt new technologies.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Monthly salary range: $6666 – $8333 (annual $80,000 – $100,000).
