The Loader at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for identifying, gathering, packing and planning shipments. This is a 1st shift onsite role, with hours Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Role Responsibilities
 

• Load shipments on to trucks in accordance with freight regulations and requirements.
• Maintain and organize product and storage lot.
• Inventory lumber, skids and crates.
• Operate Diesel Load Lifter and Forklifts.
• Fulfill staging requirements of departments supported by position.
• Provide backup to warehouse and assembly as needed.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
 

• Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in related area of expertise.
• Safely operate equipment.
• Acquire knowledge of department processes and parts.
• Knowledge of freight regulations and requirements.
• Understand customer orders and shipping requirements.
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
• Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
