Locum Tenens Physician Assistant

Description:

Vista Staffing is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Emergency Medicine at a healthcare facility in Springfield, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practitioner looking to provide critical care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work 10- and 12-hour shifts, 3–4 shifts per week

• Provide emergency, trauma, and stroke care

• Inpatient responsibilities within the ER

• Cover weekend shifts as required

Requirements:

• Certification: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required

• Licensure: Active Massachusetts (MA) license required

• Eligibility: Board Certified or Board Eligible; Family Medicine trained PAs with current Emergency Medicine experience are acceptable

• Credentialing Time: Approximately 30 days; emergency privileges can be arranged
