We are seeking an accomplished, high-energy Logistics Manager ready to take ownership of a mission-critical leadership role within a high-volume, temperature-controlled operation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all supply-chain and logistics functions for a large-scale, temperature-controlled fresh-produce platform with national and cross-border distribution.
- Manage a multi-modal transportation model including refrigerated fleet operations, LTL/FTL, drayage, intermodal, and power-only services.
- Oversee operations serving major East Coast ports and regional gateways.
- Build, scale, and lead a high-performing sales and brokerage division with comprehensive coverage across the U.S. and Canada.
- Develop and execute scalable carrier-procurement strategies, including capacity sourcing, multi-year contract negotiation, and carrier scorecard performance programs.
- Direct a 24/7/365 dispatch and customer service operation focused on real-time tracking, exception management, and 98%+ on-time delivery performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using TMS, ELD, visibility tools, and analytics to enhance routing, load planning, operating costs, and service levels.
- Collaborate with safety leadership on regulatory compliance and risk-management programs (DOT, FMCSA, FSMA), as well as insurance and claims handling for both company drivers and contracted carriers.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives including new market entry, capacity expansion, and technology investments.
- Monitor the P&L for the logistics and brokerage division, delivering strong year-over-year revenue and margin growth.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent across driver, brokerage, operations, and sales teams while fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive logistics or supply-chain experience (refrigerated/perishable strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in fleet management, LTL/FTL brokerage, dispatch operations, refrigerated transportation, and port drayage.
- Proven success building and scaling sales and brokerage teams, including geographic expansion across the U.S. and/or Canada.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
