A well-funded startup technology company in NYC is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its core team. The company specializes in creating next-generation wireless systems and is looking for a foundational engineer to develop the intelligence of its products.

Position Focus

The role centers on the creation and optimization of machine learning models designed to interpret complex wireless signals. The engineer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a model, from initial concept through to final deployment on hardware. This position requires a hands-on approach to solving difficult and meaningful technical challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of their work.

Key Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and a modern ML framework (PyTorch preferred).
• A strong, intuitive understanding of statistics and the mathematics behind ML.
• Demonstrated experience applying machine learning to complex data sets (e.g., signals, time-series, sensor data).
• Proficiency in a Linux-based development environment.
• A collaborative work style and excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: The base salary for this position up to $300,000 USD, dependent on experience and skill level.
