Description:
This position exists to assist the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor and other Supervisors to provide and oversee the St. Peter Forensic Fleet, record keeping, collecting and disseminating data, and other assigned duties related to Physical Plant Operations. This position will facilitate, coordinate, participate in meetings, and may act as a team leader on behalf of the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor as assigned.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain all vehicle records and facilitate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the State vehicle fleet for St. Peter Regional Treatment Center to aid in the management of the fleet vehicles.
- Maintain accurate lease agreements for applicable State vehicles and recommend replacement vehicles as agreements expire and as needed.
- Coordinate payment of maintenance accounts payable with the Finance Department
- Complete applicable vehicle use and cost analysis
- Assist Program Heads with acquisition of vehicles and collaborate with Department of Administration Fleet Services regarding vehicle specifications, lease rates/terms, and vehicle availability
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with all necessary supplies.
- Compile St. Peter Regional Treatment Center vehicle fleet information for the Department Quarterly Report.
- Post-secondary education with emphasis on business administration.
- Experience working with software programs associated with State of Minnesota Fleet Services.
