Description:

EY is seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Manager to join its Financial Services Organization – Private Client Services (PCS) team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing portfolio of private clients, ranging from family-owned businesses to private equity-backed companies, high-growth startups, and large global private enterprises.

As a Seasonal Tax Manager, you will play a critical role during the tax season by managing and reviewing complex tax compliance projects, particularly for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and related entities. This position provides the flexibility to work remotely within the United States, while still being part of EY’s globally connected, collaborative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review complex individual tax returns for high-net-worth private tax clients.

  • Handle Individual, Gift, Trust, and Estate Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1041, 706, 709).

  • Provide strategic oversight and prioritization when managing multiple tax projects.

  • Collaborate effectively with both US-based and offshore shared services teams.

  • Deliver high-quality service and compliance within tight deadlines.

Requirements for Success:

  • Active US CPA license, Enrolled Agent (EA), or active state bar membership.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance for private client individuals in financial services.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid-tier firm.
