Description:
Conviva Senior Primary Care, part of CenterWell and Humana, is seeking an experienced Manager, Clinic Administrator to lead the Winter Haven location. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the work of professional and support personnel in an outpatient clinical setting. The Manager ensures optimal patient outcomes by collaborating with clinicians, developing staffing plans, and implementing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and direct departmental operations within established guidelines and procedures.
Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems.
Develop and lead implementation of staffing plans, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
Make operational decisions regarding resources, tactical approaches, and project initiatives.
Conduct briefings, area meetings, and maintain frequent communication with other managers.
Required Qualifications:
2–4 years of operational leadership experience in a clinical office setting.
Direct leadership experience with the ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams.
Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with physicians, office staff, and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Provider Communities and Medicare.
Experience with EMR or Health Information Management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
High emotional intelligence and engagement; commitment to improving consumer experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Population Health Strategy.
Managed care and Value-Based Care experience.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment.
Solid understanding of medical care delivery, managed care financial arrangements, and reimbursement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Experience managing budgets of $500,000+.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime may be required)
40 hours per week
