Tax Manager

Description:

Cyber Coders, on behalf of a leading Public Accounting Firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing team in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid opportunity is designed for highly skilled tax professionals with strong public accounting backgrounds and an active CPA license.

The Tax Manager will play a critical leadership role by overseeing tax compliance and planning activities, guiding clients on tax strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, oversee, and review tax compliance for corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.

• Provide high-quality tax planning and consulting services to diverse clients.

• Research and analyze federal and state tax laws, regulations, and legislation to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance.

• Develop and present tailored tax strategies to clients, delivering valuable business insights.

• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and interns to build strong technical and professional skills.

• Partner with leadership to improve internal processes and strengthen client service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA certification (required).

• Minimum 5 years of tax experience within public accounting.

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

• Experience with estate, trust, and partnership taxation is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build client relationships.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with accuracy and efficiency.
