Description:
CRG is partnering with a prominent American retail establishment with a century-long legacy to hire a Co Manager for its Charleston, SC location. This role oversees the efficient and profitable operations of the store, ensures high levels of customer satisfaction, and fosters a positive and productive work environment. The Co Manager will directly support the Store Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction, courtesy, and service throughout the store.
Achieve financial targets as outlined in the budget and assist the store manager in overall store goals.
Assist in staffing, including recruitment, training, and forecasting staffing needs.
Ensure direct reports understand performance expectations and hold them accountable.
Conduct frequent store inspections to maintain awareness of store conditions.
Uphold sanitation and food safety standards across the store.
Foster a positive store morale through effective supervision and employee recognition.
Facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
Maintain a safe facility for customers and employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2-3 years of progressive experience in large retail operations management, preferably in grocery retail.
