Claire’s, a global leader in fashion accessories and jewelry, is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor/Manager to join its dynamic retail team in Fairbanks, Alaska. As a Part-Time Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading store operations, motivating team members, and driving sales performance. You’ll also become part of Claire’s iconic piercing team, delivering exceptional service and ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident, stylish, and inspired.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Achieve and exceed sales goals by delivering engaging customer experiences, upselling products, and promoting current offers.

  • Customer Engagement: Create a welcoming and empowering shopping environment, helping customers discover the latest fashion and accessory trends.

  • Ear Piercing Expertise: Perform piercings with care, precision, and professionalism. Provide aftercare education and build customer confidence throughout the process.

  • Store Presentation: Maintain attractive, well-organized displays and ensure the store remains neat, inviting, and easy to shop.

  • Team Collaboration: Support the Store Manager by coaching and motivating team members, sharing effective sales strategies, and fostering a positive work culture.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory management, cash handling, and merchandising activities.

  • Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for Claire’s by staying up-to-date with fashion trends, engaging customers through social media moments, and enhancing the in-store experience.


Job Requirements

  • High school education completed (some college preferred).

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience, ideally in a leadership or management capacity.

  • Ability to perform piercings (training will be provided).

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling sales transactions.

  • Ability to lift 25–75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform store tasks such as stocking, climbing ladders, and visual merchandising.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently when needed.

  • Passion for fashion, self-expression, and customer engagement.
