Managing General Partner

Description:

GrayShadow Capital is in the pre-alpha stage, meaning the fund has not yet launched, and core trading strategies are still being developed. The vision, fund structure, and legal framework are being put in place, but we need an initial investor and strategic partner to help get the firm operational. This is not an established fund with assets under management (AUM)—it is a startup in need of capital and leadership.

The Vision

GrayShadow Capital is being built as a multi-strategy hedge fund that will eventually integrate various investment approaches, such as:

• Quantitative Trading (systematic, algorithmic, HFT)
• Discretionary Macro (global trends, interest rates, FX, commodities)
• Event-Driven Strategies (mergers, acquisitions, earnings, distressed assets)
• Equities & Fixed Income (long/short equity, bonds, credit markets)
• Private Equity & Venture Capital (high-growth companies, special situations)

While these are potential strategies, nothing is finalized. The firm’s focus and core strategies will be developed as we bring on the right partners and capital.

Who I’m Looking For

I am seeking a Managing Partner & Initial Investor who:

• Has at least 8 years of experience in hedge funds, asset management, or proprietary trading.
• Has a background as either:
• A hedge fund manager.
• A senior-level professional at a hedge fund (Portfolio Manager, Head of Trading, CIO, etc.).
• Has an institutional network and the ability to assist in raising capital.
• Understands multi-strategy investing and can help define the firm’s approach.
• Is willing to invest in an early-stage hedge fund and take an active role in its development.
