Manufacturing Engineer

Description:

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
Must be self-starter and take initiative on projects.
Must work well with cross-functional teams.
Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing understanding desired.
Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that improve product performance.
Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
May help incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Hiring Manager would consider early career candidates with a Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Degree and at least 1 year of industrial experience
Schedule is targeted to be 4-9-4 - Mon-Thu 9 hours, 4 hours Friday. (7:00 AM to 4:30pm M-TH, 7:00AM to 11:00 F)
