Manufacturing Supervisor

 

Description:

This position is responsible to supervise and drive continuous improvement for the manufacturing crew within the value stream and deliver business results. Assigned manufacturing crew is small and low/medium complexity. This position also ensures the value stream is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.

Position Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream maps
  • Deliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management system
  • Provide direct leadership to value stream team leads and production employees
  • Provide indirect leadership to other support functions (matrix organization)
  • Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew and Team Leads, promoting career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.

Qualifications And Skills
 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing operation
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Business acumen and knowledge
