Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician I role involves fulfilling customer final assembly requirements on the manufacturing floor. The role includes assembling finished units, organizing team tasks, maintaining parts inventory, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble finished units according to customer specifications

• Coordinate tasks with teammates for team-based assembly activities

• Use manual and automated lifting devices safely

• Organize, maintain, and order spare parts inventory as needed

• Replenish stock and audit material kits for accuracy

• Verify correct build documentation

• Report scrap, downtime, and update manufacturing metrics

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles

• Participate actively in team meetings and projects

• Comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards at all times

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills (8th-grade level)

• Basic PC skills (using keyboard, mouse, Windows OS)

Physical Demands:

• Standing almost 100% of the time

• Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs

• Close vision required for product observation and use of computer screens

• Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes mandatory on the manufacturing floor

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing floor setting

• Moderate noise level

• Exposure to machinery with moving parts and hot surfaces

• Occasional exposure to dust, dirt, and chemical fumes
