This high-impact, onsite role requires a dynamic leader to direct all departmental activities and resources, ensuring HR strategy aligns with the highest clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards of the organization. You will be a key decision-maker, managing the full employee lifecycle and fostering a culture of professional growth and compliance.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
The Director will be responsible for providing functional independent judgment and strategic oversight, including:
➤ Developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with organizational and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
➤ Directing and evaluating departmental operations, service level determination, and complaint management to meet performance and quality objectives.
➤ Planning and monitoring all staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance reviews, and administering corrective action for staff.
➤ Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding.
➤ Leading and directing internal/external HR and compliance audits.
➤ Creating an environment that encourages professional growth and ensures the department maintains its vital role in the continuum of care.
Qualifications & Experience (Must-Haves)
To be considered for this critical position, candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:
✅ Prior experience in a Human Resources Director or similar senior leadership role.
✅ Minimum of four (4) years of professional Human Resources experience within a healthcare setting (acute care/hospital experience is a significant asset).
✅ Proven expertise in employee relations and managing complex HR situations.
✅ Skilled in applying policies and procedures and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects, delegate tasks, and provide high-level functional judgment.
