The Marketing Designer (Marketing and Communications Specialist) position will focus on designing content for social media, print items for facilities, direct advertising, digital marketing campaigns, websites, emails, and internal communications, and providing support in implementing marketing and communication strategies and efforts in order to advance the Y’s mission.
- Implements marketing and communication strategies for various campaigns and initiatives, working with all necessary branch staff throughout the association.
- Monitors Marketing and Communication campaign and/or project budgets in order to meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintains foundational systems within the areas of marketing and communication, including but not limited to social media, facility, direct, advertising, digital marketing, and internal communications.
- Creates various components of marketing campaigns, e.g. print collateral, web content, and assures deliverables produced in a timely manner.
- Serves as a resource for staff in order to keep them connected and motivated to promote the Y’s cause and services. Schedules and produces materials for branch marketing requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Graphic Design preferred. Proven applicable work history of two or more years may be considered in lieu of degree.
- One or more years of experience in a marketing/communications-related field.
- Demonstrated success in project management.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Experience in social media platforms and CMS programs required.
