Description:
Shop ONline New York is seeking a Marketing Strategist Intern (Master Planner) for a 3-month remote internship (20 hours per week). This role is ideal for individuals who excel at strategic marketing planning and want hands-on experience in shaping a high-impact go-to-market strategy for an emerging e-commerce brand.
1. Strategic Marketing Planning
Develop a holistic marketing strategy outlining key channels, messaging, and timing for launch.
Conduct market research and competitor analyses to shape a compelling brand narrative.
2. Master Planner Execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, product) to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Create detailed marketing roadmaps, setting milestones and deliverables leading up to the launch.
3. Campaign Development & Coordination
Plan integrated campaigns, coordinating social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and content marketing.
Work closely with creative teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand identity.
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and make necessary pivots.
5. Stakeholder Communication & Leadership
Serve as the primary marketing advisor to leadership, presenting clear plans and progress updates.
Maintain open communication across departments to ensure alignment and readiness for launch.
Understanding of marketing strategies, particularly in digital/e-commerce.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
Ability to conceive and execute long-term, multi-stage marketing plans.
Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with marketing tools for analytics, social media management, and campaign automation.
A patient and adaptable mindset to fine-tune strategies until the optimal launch scenario is achieved.
Hands-on experience in developing a high-impact marketing strategy for an e-commerce launch.
