Master Stylist

Description:

The Master Stylist is responsible for delivering professional hair and beauty services while providing exceptional guest experiences. This role emphasizes service, sales, and teamwork to support the overall salon and store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, treatments, extensions, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable)

• Meet or exceed service sales and productivity goals

• Provide product demonstrations and recommend hair/beauty products to guests

• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives

• Build strong guest relationships and develop a loyal clientele

• Maintain knowledge of beauty industry trends, products, and techniques

• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, safety, sanitation, and state regulations

• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards of salon and store areas

• Collaborate with team members and follow company dress code and operational guidelines

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology license

• Proficiency in salon techniques, haircare, makeup, and beauty services

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 10 lbs., and perform repetitive motions
