Responsibilities

Summary: Packs quality finished goods into boxes for shipment and assists Technician with basic line issues in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:
 

• Responsible material flow to extruders
• Removes material jams
• Performs housekeeping to keep the raw material and extrusion area s clean.
• Monitor s machine operations to ensure material flows properly
• Detects defects or machine malfunctions and makes minor adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoots basic machine problems
• Follows all Company established rules and policies
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Other duties may be assigned

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must have basic math skills
• Minimum (2) two years of experience sit down. Preferred (1) one year stand-up (reach truck) experience.
• Must be able to work 30’ off the ground
• Must have good communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization
• Must have the ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs occasionally as job demands
• Must have ability to work standing or walking, in a hot environment, for 12 hours with appropriate breaks.
