Essential Duties And Responsibilities
 

  • Mechanical assembly of devices involving small parts, precision alignments and metrology.
  • Soldering of fine-gauge wires (28–36 AWG) and familiarity with epoxy application processes.
  • Using a microscope for precision alignments and soldering of small devices.
  • Interpreting mechanical and technical product drawings and documentation.
     

Skills And Requirements
 

  • Ability to complete complex mechanical assembly tasks and precision metrology measurements.
  • Moderate soldering experience, J-STD-001 preferred.
  • Familiarity with precision mechanical alignments, tools and techniques.
  • Can use multi-meters, wire strippers, and standard assembly and metrology tools.
  • Ability to complete assembly and metrology records for regulatory and QC requirements.
  • Use 5S and Lean principles in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work effectively from verbal instructions and minimal supervision.
  • Ability to use standard office applications (Word, Excel, Email).
     

Education
 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred
