Description:
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Use analytical skills, reasoning, and engineering judgment to develop new and innovative products and technologies
- Design components including injection molded plastics, die and investment castings, stampings, machined parts, etc.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional project teams to ensure new designs meet internal requirements and industry standards Identify and implement product and process cost reductions and improvements
- Support prototype construction, laboratory testing, and agency testing during the product design cycle
- Apply sound engineering practices to solve quality issues
- Provide continuation engineering support for existing products
- Interact with software, electrical, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, sales, and customers on technical matters
