Mechanical Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of mechanical engineers and CAD designers to develop innovative and efficient mechanical solutions.
• Manage the entire mechanical design lifecycle—from concept, prototyping, and detailed design to testing, documentation, and production support.
• Serve as a technical authority on mechanical systems, ensuring solutions are robust, manufacturable, and aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Program Management to deliver cost-effective, high-quality products on schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement across design processes, engineering tools, and development timelines.
• Support new business efforts through design input, technical reviews, and proposal development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years of mechanical product design and development experience.
• 6+ years leading mechanical design or engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of metals, machining, fabrication, and finishing processes.
• Proficient in SolidWorks (or similar CAD), GD&T, and standard drawing practices.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• U.S. Export Control compliant.
