Job Description:

• Serve as first patient care contact handling administrative and clinical duties.

• Perform clinical tasks: vital signs, injections, diagnostic tests, specimen collection, blood draws, sterilizing equipment, maintaining exam rooms.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses.

• Perform patient care per certification limits, under supervision and guidelines.

• Support multiple locations within the region.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of MA school/training or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years experience with provider approval

• Preferred: 1+ year MA experience, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, value-based care knowledge, bilingual English/Spanish

• High school diploma or equivalent

• CPR Certified

• TB screening required

• MA certification or registration depending on state requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with medication/vaccine administration and phlebotomy

• Knowledge of value-based care including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience

• Bilingual English/Spanish (must pass proficiency exam)
