Medical Surgical Manager

Description:

HealthCare Support is seeking a Manager of Med/Surg – Telemetry – Registered Nurse

to fill an opening with a Medical Center in Harlingen, TX!

Daily Responsibilities for Manager of Med/Surg – Telemetry – Registered Nurse :

• Assist with overseeing unit operations with the Director, including staff education and competencies, hiring, coaching, and payroll
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations
• Monday- Friday, 7 am – 5 pm
• On-Call: Rotating
   

Required Qualifications for Manager of Med/Surg – Telemetry – Registered Nurse :
 

• Current and valid TX license as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience necessary
• 5+ years of clinical experience in a Med Surg/Tele
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Must have experience with the Joint Commission Surveys
