Protouch Staffing is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) to join a reputable healthcare facility located in Oak Lawn, Illinois. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled nurses to provide high-quality patient care while working in a supportive and professional medical-surgical environment.

The role is a 13-week contract assignment with competitive hourly pay, completion bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability to float when required, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with hospital standards and state regulations.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document all care accurately.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and treatment outcomes.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and discharge instructions.

• Float to other units as required to support patient care operations.

• Maintain compliance with all healthcare protocols, infection control, and safety standards.

Shift Schedule:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Start Date: February 24, 2025

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience.

• Float flexibility is mandatory.

• Fully COVID-19 vaccinated (2 doses required).

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Up-to-date Physical, TB test, Titers, Tdap, and Voided Check documentation.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $50 per hour

• Completion Bonus: $500
