Description:

Thriveworks, a trusted mental health provider with 340+ locations nationwide, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for its Aurora, CO clinic. This is a fee-for-service, W2 hybrid role, requiring a minimum of one in-office day per week with the rest of the clinical hours delivered through telemedicine.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide compassionate care to a diverse client base, treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and related disorders, primarily for adolescents and adults. The role emphasizes responsible prescribing practices, comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, and collaborative care planning to support long-term wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via telemedicine and in-office.

  • Provide medication management and prescribe as clinically appropriate.

  • Treat clients ages 14 and above.

  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized care plans.

  • Utilize and adhere to Thriveworks' clinical practice guidelines.

  • Complete necessary documentation, assessment tools, and compliance forms.

  • Consult with regional clinic directors and cross-functional teams regarding client care.

  • Participate in in-house ADHD treatment training, guidelines, and certification exam.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

  • Active prescriptive authority in Colorado.

  • Licensed and residing in the state of practice.

  • Master’s in Nursing required.

  • Minimum 1 year of psychiatry practice required (3+ years preferred).

  • Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR preferred.
