Miracle Software Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced MFT Developer for a 6+ month remote position. This role involves providing guidance, implementation, and support for Business-to-Business (B2B) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. The MFT Developer will lead the design, integration, and optimization of EDI systems, ensuring efficient data exchanges between business partners and enhancing operational efficiency. The role is responsible for both technical and strategic aspects of EDI projects, including solution design, integration, mapping, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• EDI Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design and configuration of EDI systems for B2B communications, including defining transaction sets, data formats (X12, EDIFACT, XML), and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).

• System Integration and Architecture: Oversee the integration of EDI systems with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, TMS, WMS) to ensure smooth data flow across systems.

• EDI Mapping and Data Transformation: Lead mapping data between internal systems and external partners, using tools like IBM Sterling B2B, Seeburger, or SAP PI/PO.

• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical EDI specifications.

• Vendor and Partner Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external B2B partners, including onboarding, communication protocols, and transaction formats.

• Project Management and Delivery: Lead EDI projects ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and requirements, managing timelines and resources.

• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX) and implement secure data exchange protocols.

• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing EDI support, resolve system and communication issues, and train internal teams and business users.

• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to optimize EDI processes and keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation for EDI processes, system configurations, and provide regular progress updates.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of experience in EDI systems design, integration, and optimization

• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML), communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN)

• Proficiency with EDI tools such as IBM Sterling B2B, Seeburger, and SAP PI/PO

• Strong business acumen and ability to gather and analyze business requirements

• Experience managing B2B partner relationships and negotiating SLAs

• Strong project management skills, including documentation, timelines, and resource coordination

• Knowledge of industry regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOX

• Excellent troubleshooting and support skills
