Description:
Under general direction, to assist in the administration of Leonard Hall Junior Naval Academy; to plan, develop, organize, coordinate, and supervise the student attendance, behavior management and extra-curricular activity programs; to assist in the planning, development and implementation of site, instructional and operational goals and objectives, and in the evaluation of the effectiveness of educational programs and personnel performance; and to perform other related functions as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
● Military experience
● An associate’s degree from an accredited university.
● Experience working with children (11 to 18 years of age)
● Experience in a supervisory/leadership role(s).
● Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills ● Pre-employment background check (fingerprinting, criminal history)
Desired:
● Minimum of 8 years Navy experience with achieved rank of at least 1st Class Petty Officer
● A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
● Teaching experience in a classroom environment
● Familiar with technology (PC, Basic Network, Camera Systems)
