Motion Designer

Description:

Cella is seeking a talented Motion Designer to join their client’s team in St. Louis on a contract basis. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with the ability to concept, design, and produce high-quality motion graphics and digital content that resonate with brand identity and engage target audiences effectively.

As a Motion Designer, you will collaborate closely with creative teams, account services, and strategy partners to develop compelling traditional and digital communications. You will create assets for digital advertising, ecommerce, websites, and video, while also contributing to package design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute both traditional and digital communications with excellent creative and design skills.

• Conceptualize and produce digital content, including ecommerce assets, digital advertising, website visuals, and videos.

• Participate in package design projects, contributing creative input and executions.

• Maintain quality control of design work, ensuring all outputs meet high standards and brand guidelines.

• Work autonomously by receiving project assignments, completing tasks on time, and applying feedback effectively.

• Present and represent your own creative work credibly in internal and client settings.

• Collaborate effectively with Account Managers, Strategy teams, fellow creatives, clients, and external vendors.

• Positively influence creative decisions to enhance the quality and impact of work for client brands.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in an Art Director or comparable creative role within an advertising agency or in-house creative team.

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for both digital and print design.

• Strong understanding of design across traditional and digital channels, including social media, ecommerce, digital display advertising, and retailer digital advertising.

• Demonstrated motion design skills, including proficiency with Adobe After Effects and animated GIF creation.

• Familiarity with Figma for collaborative design work.
