Description:

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified healthcare staffing agency, is actively seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel-based contract assignment at a top-tier healthcare facility in White Plains, NY.

This position requires strong clinical knowledge, technical proficiency, and the ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology. As a vital team member, the MRI Technologist will support high-quality patient care while operating under best practices and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment safely and effectively to support accurate diagnosis.

• Position patients and imaging coils properly for optimal imaging results.

• Administer contrast media as needed based on the procedure and physician instructions.

• Monitor imaging results in real-time, ensuring clarity and diagnostic accuracy.

• Recognize abnormal images and escalate findings when necessary.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines at federal, state, and local levels.

• Promote a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies or life-threatening situations.

• Provide compassionate and efficient care, with a strong focus on patient comfort and well-being.

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Valid state radiology registration (as required by law).

• 18+ months of experience as an MRI Tech, preferably in critical care or high-volume clinical environments.

• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
