Description:
The Network Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, wireless, and internet systems. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal network performance, availability, and security, with a focus on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Windows Server (2012 or later) within Active Directory domains.
- Maintain Microsoft 365 services: user provisioning, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint.
- Configure and support TCP/IP services (LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP).
- Manage access control lists, Group Policy Objects, and file/print services.
- Provide support for VOIP-based phone systems and imaging/document systems.
- Install and maintain Cisco hardware: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
- Administer Meraki wireless infrastructure and overall LAN/WAN systems.
- Use tools like PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine for network monitoring and health checks.
- Perform updates/upgrades to network software/hardware.
- Maintain network documentation for audits, compliance, and internal reporting.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Implement and maintain network security measures.
- Provide technical support and deliver network training to users.
- Evaluate new technologies for system upgrades and enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or support roles.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft server environments and Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki network equipment.
- Experience with VoIP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience documenting and supporting compliance-driven IT environments.
- Windows Server (2012 or later) administration in AD environments.
- Group Policy, file/print services, and system automation experience.
- Knowledge of imaging/document systems and VoIP-based communication systems.
- Configuration and support of core TCP/IP services (LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP).
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualized environments.
- Administering Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Supporting wireless access points and telecommunications systems.
- Meraki infrastructure administration.
- Network monitoring using PRTG, MRGT, ManageEngine.
- Proactive troubleshooting and upgrades to minimize downtime.
- Audit and compliance reporting documentation.
