Description:

The Network Analyst is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing LAN and WAN infrastructures for Chugach Government Solutions. This role involves system integration, software licensing oversight, imaging, server administration, user support, and maintaining network reliability across the organization. The analyst ensures operational security, system integrity, and adherence to company and federal standards.

The position is 100% on-site and supports mission-critical operations for government contracts, requiring a Secret security clearance and strict adherence to safety and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & System Management

• Oversee and maintain system policies, standards, and configuration baselines

• Install, maintain, and configure computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure

• Ensure system currency and manage software licensing

• Conduct performance management, security reviews, and planning

• Perform system enhancements to ensure reliability and performance

• Configure PCs and peripherals (printers, scanners, modems, NICs, CD-ROM, etc.)

Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide help desk support for hardware/software issues

• Diagnose LAN/WAN issues and perform system troubleshooting

• Manage user access and maintain system integrity through backups

• Order and install replacement parts following imaging procedures

Technical Documentation & Analysis

• Develop, document, test, and modify systems/programs based on requirements

• Analyze system needs and recommend hardware/software improvements

• Support long-term system planning and information system strategy

Compliance & Accountability

• Meet all required government and company training

• Follow CGS safety practices, SOPs, and policies

• Maintain professionalism and effective communication

• Handle property responsibly and maintain accountability

Qualifications:

Required

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting, computer hardware/software

• Experience with computer imaging

• IAT Level II certification (Security+) or ability to obtain within 6 months

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record

• Current Interim or Final Secret Security Clearance

• Ability to pass background checks and drug testing

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field

• Experience with:

  • Industrial controls

  • Security systems

  • Group Policies

  • Sysco system/commands

  • Government or Army installations

• Final Secret Security Clearance (current)
