Network Technical Project Manager
This position is open to local candidates residing within a 40-mile radius of Dublin, CA. Relocation is not accepted.
Top Skills:
- Working knowledge of Network, Storage, Oracle, Windows/Solaris/Linux Servers would be preferable.
- Infrastructure delivery (Storage, Servers, Databases, Network) to projects.
Essential Functions:
- Looking for a service delivery Lead. This candidate will interface with pm on the business side.
- Negotiate agreement on project schedule and budgets
- Develop and maintain the detailed ,technical project plan
- Manage multiple complex projects independently and concurrently
- Manage project status report, issues, action items, change log , internal and external dependencies etc
- Facilitate project status meetings, requirements and design discussions
- Develop implementation solutions that align with strategic direction and standards
- Manage risk issues and participate in the application of the risk management process
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with client project team staff
- Demonstrate the application of approved project management methods and business methods
- May develop and execute user training plans
- Coordinate the collection and validation of Architectural and Engineering requirements and feasibility assessments
- Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases
- Determine the impact of current/existing technologies on the project and communicate impact to sponsors
- Manage the overall resource capacity (supply) and scheduled work (demand) for the delivering organization including forecasting and impact assessment
- Manage project close-out activities
- Develop and conduct post-implementation review and lessons learned
- Accountable for Infrastructure delivery (Storage, Servers, Databases, Network) to projects
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of project management experience required and solid knowledge of infrastructure delivery processes.
- 4 year degree in related field or equivalent experience
- PMP certification required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint , and Project Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration.
- Understand and applies knowledge of change management process on projects
- Working knowledge of Network, Storage, Oracle, Windows/Solaris/Linux Servers would be preferable.
