MarinHealth, a leading independent healthcare system affiliated with UCSF Health, is seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality inpatient therapy services at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, CA. You will join a state-of-the-art facility recognized nationally for healthcare excellence, with over 55 clinics serving the North Bay Area and a 327-bed hospital. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to inpatients to address physical limitations and improve quality of life.

• Perform patient evaluations, develop and execute individualized treatment plans.

• Conduct family education sessions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive discharge planning.

• Maintain clinical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of therapy programs.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (approved by the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education).

• At least one year of experience in an inpatient acute hospital setting as a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapist license (required upon hire).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain therapy plans and build patient rapport.

• Deep understanding of physical disabilities, emotional effects of illness, and the physiological impact of injury.

Additional Information:

• Full-time, day shift (8-hour shifts), 40 hours per week.

• Compensation determined based on experience and qualifications within a legal and internal equity framework.

• Required immunizations (MMR, varicella, flu); COVID + booster strongly recommended, with exemptions accommodated.
