Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join school-based therapy teams across multiple locations in California for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a part-time opportunity offering schedule flexibility while making a meaningful impact on children’s developmental journeys.

As a school-based OT, you will work closely with students, teachers, and special education staff to assess, plan, and implement therapy services that support students' ability to participate fully in their educational environment. Your role will involve enhancing fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care capabilities, and classroom access strategies for students with varying needs.

This position is ideal for OTs who are passionate about early intervention, individualized therapy plans, and school-based collaboration, whether you are an experienced clinician or a recent graduate eager to make a difference.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and create customized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services in one-on-one and group settings.

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to optimize student performance.

  • Document therapy sessions, maintain progress reports, and support IEP meetings.

  • Use evidence-based practices to address developmental, sensory, motor, and adaptive needs.

  • Provide consultative services and train staff as needed on therapeutic strategies.

  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment that promotes student growth.


Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy License (CBOT)

  • Graduation from an NBCOT-accredited program

  • Ability to work in-person, Monday through Friday

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Passion for helping children succeed in educational environments


Preferred Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience as a school-based OT or in a pediatric setting

  • New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive robust mentorship and clinical support
