Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to join a school district in Farmingdale, NY. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the academic and developmental progress of students. The contract is structured around the school calendar and includes the opportunity to work in various grade-level settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services according to students’ IEPs.

• Evaluate students to determine therapy eligibility and develop customized therapy plans.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams, guardians, and other specialists.

• Monitor and record student progress and therapy outcomes.

• Provide therapy services across assigned school sites; may include travel between locations.

• Possibly supervise occupational therapy assistants when required.

Contract and Benefits:

• 45-week contract.

• Hourly pay range: $52.15 to $56.20.

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Occupational Therapist License.

• American Heart Association BLS Certification.

• Pediatric or school-based experience is a plus but not mandatory.
