On-site Technical Support Specialist

 

Description:

EY is seeking a skilled and motivated On-Site Technical Support Specialist to join their team in Jericho, NY. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless IT operations by providing direct technical support to staff across various platforms and devices. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, in-depth technical expertise, and exceptional customer service abilities to maintain high operational standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support to staff on-site, off-site, or at client engagement locations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and audiovisual (AV) issues including PCs, Macs, Microsoft Surface Hubs, Crestron, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and other related technologies.

  • Configure, reset, and manage AV and network-connected devices ensuring seamless functionality across all systems.

  • Manage ServiceNow tickets by prioritizing requests and adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Support Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office 365.

  • Handle hardware asset management including shipping, receiving, tracking, and disposal.

  • Provide printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting services.

  • Offer event and meeting support, occasionally requiring travel to other EY locations or client sites.

  • Deliver VIP/white glove technical assistance and provide after-hours support when necessary.

  • Act as remote hands for network operations, including port checks, cable tracing, hardware reboots, and device upgrades.

Education & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a related discipline.
