The Performance Materials organization has 18 union and non-union operational sites, and the North American headquarters is in southeastern Michigan, approximately 11 miles south of Detroit on the Detroit River.

As an HRBP, You Create Chemistry By...

  • Leading HR processes for your client group, as well as deploy HR measures related to operational level strategy implementation and change management projects.
  • Providing guidance and solutions, as well as make decisions during times of ambiguity on a variety of situations. You will also plan, manage, and deliver unit-or site-specific consulting projects, in a highly self-directed environment.
  • Leading meetings with your client group, as well as partnering with leadership and Talent Acquisition to identify and assess talent in personnel planning and the recruitment of internal and external applicants.
  • Partnering with COEs, Labor Relations Team and the HR Service Center to develop solutions and oversee the execution of tasks. You will also facilitate the annual performance management process and talent review process.
  • Creating presentations, pivot tables, and v look-ups, using data analytics tools like SuccessFactors and Visier.
  • Acting as a proactive change agent in fostering positive employee relations for non-union and labor relations in union environments, as well as demonstrate leadership and collaborate among the HR Team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement using Six Sigma principles.

If you have...

  • Bachelor´s degree in HR
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist focusing on consulting and coaching.
  • Strong communication skills as well as collaboration, influencing, leadership and project management skills.
  • Profigency in Microsoft Office
