Operations Project Manager

Description:

Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager – Level 2 to support compliance operations within a banking environment. The role is contract-based and located in the Northeast Region, with a hybrid work model, providing a competitive hourly rate between $51.58 and $85.97.

The ideal candidate will bring deep regulatory expertise and a decade of experience in compliance functions within the U.S. branches of foreign banks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, investigative, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advisory and monitoring support for compliance policies and adherence to State and Federal banking regulations.

• Guide business units on compliance-related topics including internal policies, customer due diligence, and internal controls.

• Assist in implementing regulatory changes and their impact on business operations.

• Monitor investment activities for compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate preparations for internal audits and regulatory examinations.

• Update and maintain compliance policies and documentation.

• Support management in organizing and reporting on compliance activities.

• Provide project management support for compliance enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory roles within banking environments.

• Expertise in State and Federal banking regulations, particularly for U.S. branches of foreign institutions.

• Proficient in monitoring and reporting banking transactions for regulatory compliance.

• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and office software.
