Description:
Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager – Level 2 to support compliance operations within a banking environment. The role is contract-based and located in the Northeast Region, with a hybrid work model, providing a competitive hourly rate between $51.58 and $85.97.
The ideal candidate will bring deep regulatory expertise and a decade of experience in compliance functions within the U.S. branches of foreign banks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, investigative, and communication skills.
Provide advisory and monitoring support for compliance policies and adherence to State and Federal banking regulations.
Guide business units on compliance-related topics including internal policies, customer due diligence, and internal controls.
Assist in implementing regulatory changes and their impact on business operations.
Monitor investment activities for compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Coordinate preparations for internal audits and regulatory examinations.
Update and maintain compliance policies and documentation.
Support management in organizing and reporting on compliance activities.
Provide project management support for compliance enhancements.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory roles within banking environments.
Expertise in State and Federal banking regulations, particularly for U.S. branches of foreign institutions.
Proficient in monitoring and reporting banking transactions for regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and office software.
