Operator Weld

Description:

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., North America’s largest flat-rolled steel company and iron ore pellet producer, is seeking an Operator Weld for its Sylacauga, Alabama Stamping Facility (Fleetwood Metal Industries division). The Weld Operator will be responsible for operating the Robot Weld Cell to produce high-quality parts, maintaining production standards, and ensuring workplace safety and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Robot Weld Cell and ensure quality part production.

• Document and report inventory accurately.

• Complete all required shift documentation and reports.

• Maintain and improve housekeeping standards in the work area.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to meet production quotas and standards through repetitive tasks.

• Strong retention of information and effective communication skills.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

• Flexibility to work all shifts (Midnights, Days, Afternoons).

Preferred Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude or prior mechanical experience.
