Description:
A leading consultancy is looking for an Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant to drive mid- to large-scale cloud ERP projects. You’ll partner directly with CFO organizations to modernize core finance processes, mentor project teams, and steer every phase of the implementation lifecycle—from discovery workshops through post-production optimization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead multiple Oracle Cloud Financials engagements simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Gather and refine business requirements, design best-practice solutions, and configure modules such as General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Accounting Hub, Cash Management, Expenses, and Advanced Collections.
- Run Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), develop unit-test scripts, and guide clients through User Acceptance Testing and cut-over.
- Act as the primary client interface, communicating progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support to manage service requests and product issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants; foster knowledge sharing and quality standards across the delivery team.
- Provide ongoing post-go-live support and continuous-improvement road-maps that drive measurable business value.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years as an Oracle functional consultant, with 3+ years leading Oracle Cloud Financials projects.
- Successful completion of at least three end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
- Hands-on expertise across multiple modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, AHCS, Cash Management, Expenses, Advanced Collections).
- Proven ability to run fit-gap analyses, craft functional specs, and align design decisions with accounting best practices (multi-currency, multi-org, COA redesign, financial reporting).
- Strong project-management skills: scope, timeline, risk, and resource oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to C-suite executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, MIS, or related field (MBA or comparable master’s a plus).
- CPA or equivalent certification desirable.
- Willingness to travel for key project milestones (estimated <25 %).
