Description:
This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) and Financials solutions to meet diverse business needs. As a technical expert, you will collaborate with stakeholders, functional teams, and project managers to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions while adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Design and Development
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs for Oracle HCM and Financial modules.
- Develop and customize Oracle Cloud modules, including:
- Integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Reports with OTBI, BI Publisher, and FRS.
- Extensions through Application Development Framework (ADF) and Page Composer.
- Build and configure Oracle HCM workflows, fast formulas, and other HR-specific technical components.
- Develop financial solutions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
2. Implementation and Deployment
- Lead or participate in the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Perform impact analysis and retrofitting for periodic Oracle Cloud updates.
- Provide technical leadership during implementation projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality expectations.
3. Integration and Data Management
- Design, build, and maintain system integrations between Oracle HCM/Financials and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Lead efforts in data conversion, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for HCM and Financial modules.
- Ensure data integrity through validation checks and cleansing processes.
4. System Support and Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across HCM and Financial modules.
- Monitor system performance and optimize configurations to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with Oracle Support for issue resolution and service requests.
5. Documentation and Standards
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and end-user manuals.
- Define and enforce technical standards, ensuring all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational guidelines.
6. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to understand business needs and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Provide guidance to junior consultants and team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skills development.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Continuous Learning and Innovation
- Stay updated on the latest Oracle Cloud innovations, releases, and industry trends.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance solution efficiency and quality.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and system improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM and Financials as a technical consultant.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Oracle Cloud applications across multiple projects or organizations.
