Oracle Hcm Financial Sr. Technical Architect

 

Description:

This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) and Financials solutions to meet diverse business needs. As a technical expert, you will collaborate with stakeholders, functional teams, and project managers to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions while adhering to best practices and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Design and Development

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs for Oracle HCM and Financial modules.
  • Develop and customize Oracle Cloud modules, including:
  • Integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Reports with OTBI, BI Publisher, and FRS.
  • Extensions through Application Development Framework (ADF) and Page Composer.
  • Build and configure Oracle HCM workflows, fast formulas, and other HR-specific technical components.
  • Develop financial solutions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.

2. Implementation and Deployment

  • Lead or participate in the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Perform impact analysis and retrofitting for periodic Oracle Cloud updates.
  • Provide technical leadership during implementation projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality expectations.

3. Integration and Data Management

  • Design, build, and maintain system integrations between Oracle HCM/Financials and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Lead efforts in data conversion, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for HCM and Financial modules.
  • Ensure data integrity through validation checks and cleansing processes.

4. System Support and Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across HCM and Financial modules.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize configurations to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Support for issue resolution and service requests.

5. Documentation and Standards

  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and end-user manuals.
  • Define and enforce technical standards, ensuring all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational guidelines.

6. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to understand business needs and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Provide guidance to junior consultants and team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skills development.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

7. Continuous Learning and Innovation

  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle Cloud innovations, releases, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance solution efficiency and quality.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and system improvements.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM and Financials as a technical consultant.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing Oracle Cloud applications across multiple projects or organizations.
