Outpatient Cardiologist

Arch Well Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Cardiologist to join its growing healthcare team in St. Louis, MO. This role is fully remote and offers an excellent opportunity for a board-certified physician in cardiovascular disease and adult echocardiography to provide high-quality care without the burden of on-call duties.

The selected professional will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care in an outpatient environment. Key responsibilities include managing chronic cardiovascular diseases, ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab tests, including EKG and echocardiograms, and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. The Cardiologist will actively contribute to ArchWell Health’s echocardiography program, ensuring high standards of quality control and patient outcomes.

The role also involves collaboration with primary care providers, offering consultation, coaching, and guidance on best practices for cardiovascular management. Responsibilities extend to reviewing external cardiology referral requests, participating in population health management, and engaging in clinical quality, risk management, and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• In-depth expertise in cardiovascular disease, evidence-based care practices, and echocardiography guidelines set by the American Society of Echocardiography.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams.

• Ability to manage complex clinical and administrative scenarios with professionalism and tact.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth systems.

• Capacity to work independently and remotely in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Education & Credentials:

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.

• Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography.

• Current, unrestricted medical license.

• Active DEA registration.

• Proficient PC and teleconferencing skills.
