Description:
United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Outside Sales Representative to join its Orlando, FL team. In this client-facing role, you will act as the voice and first point of contact for our company, leveraging your consultative sales skills to identify customer needs, build long-lasting relationships, and convert prospects into loyal clients. This is a high-visibility role with significant growth potential, ideal for individuals who thrive on building connections and driving results in the construction and equipment rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Maximize revenue opportunities from facilities and construction sites within a defined territory.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, serving as the single point of contact for accounts.
Prospect and qualify new business from dormant, competitor, or non-customer accounts.
Partner with specialty division representatives to promote cross-selling opportunities.
Prepare and execute sales strategies and action plans.
Deliver professional presentations of products and services to clients and prospects.
Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce.com to manage and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in construction or equipment-related industries.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Compensation & Benefits:
