Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented mid-level Outside Sales Representative to join a well-established and growing construction and moving company on long island.

Job Function

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social channels to identify potential business opportunities with homeowners, contractors, builders, architects, designers, property managers, and business owners.
• Sell kitchen and bath products, office furniture, and residential and commercial construction services.
• Research and identify new markets and opportunities to generate revenue.
• Qualify leads and schedule appointments or site surveys for senior sales or operations teams.
• Present company services and value propositions clearly and persuasively to decision-makers.
• Prospect for new customers and turn leads into long-term accounts.
• Build, manage, and grow your own book of business.
• Follow up aggressively on leads, proposals, and outstanding opportunities.
• Work with customers from initial contact through design, quoting, and closing the sale.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, estimating, customer service) to ensure seamless client onboarding.
• Track activity metrics and report on sales performance regularly.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
   

This position is designed to develop a well-rounded sales professional.

In addition to selling, the associate will be expected to learn the operational and technical side of the business, including:
 

• Kitchen and bath design fundamentals.
• Understanding layouts, materials, products, and specifications.
• Preparing estimates, proposals, and customer quotes.
• Understanding construction scopes of work and project pricing.
• Learning how to take a customer's vision and turn it into a saleable project.
